See for yourself when he arrives in Marsielle on an upturned dinghy, after all this is a show where the dead walk around and want to eat people, so, you know… The setting and cast after one episode are mostly good, interesting and attractive looking people with some decent acting chops living in a world far enough removed from Atlanta in terms of hiding places, weapons to take out walkers and enemies, worldviews and pre-apocalyptic political structures, etc. As a European, it did seem a bit cliche to me a few times and I was concerned that it might become too cheesy/too American a view of the rest of the world, but if they have cast/writers/consultants/production from France and listen to them, hopefully it won’t drift into painting numbers.

Overall, I’m excited about this new series and am curious to see how the virus we all carry plays out elsewhere in the world and I’m sure our hero will be just as badass in France
