Let’s talk about kinaman’e. I like this guy. He is smart, he is creative and he has a great sense of humor. I asked to invite him to a stream and my request was fulfilled. Perhaps, but this is unlikely, I just looked badly, but I think the reason lies on the surface – the lack of English subtitles. Well, that is, I strongly doubt that the dude from Argentina knows the Russian language.

Imagine such a picture. I am a Japanese boy, a fan of Final Fantasy and looking for a cool story of a series of my favorite games. In fact, I consider them overvalued, because Persona is billion times better, and it is forbidden to argue with this, well, okay. My searches lead me to the largest, no less, game portal of Russia. If I were a foreigner, I would watch all this content in one gulp. BecAuse it’s so damn good!

Demagogy is just discussion about views without accurate data. Once again, no number of comments will give an idea of viewing in countries.
To find out the effectiveness of such a method and its payback, accurate data and research are needed. This poses a huge number of questions that need to be addressed, and not just to cut off English subtitles in vidos. You think SG yourself did not think of it before?

If we are talking about the number of views and money, the numbers are needed here: how many people from other countries are watching a video with subtitles and how profite is this. Maybe there are less than a couple of percent of the total number of views and then only more efforts will be spent on translation than benefits from it. Kinaman is most likely translating just to be, because there are many doubts about the numerical indicators. A couple of comments under the video do not say anything good here.

Increase views in the upcoming stories of episodes – it is possible. But this will not work with the current ones, without promoting the site (which will not be without a sharp occurrence of popularity in the foreign half). But the idea is sound.

In English -speaking Uyutub, great competition. There are analysis of games lasting from 1 hour to somewhere 10. Many authors involved in such content. It’s just that the translation will attract little attention, you need to completely rewrite texts taking into account language and culture, and this is difficult and doubtful when there are enough rollers of this in the western one.
Another problem is that the translator is not the author of the content. Any dialogue between the author and the audience is completely absent, and therefore there will be problems with the involvement of a solvent audience that will support such content.

I do not agree. I have not seen better materials on Final Fantasy than on Stopgame in the recent releases of the history of the series. In my opinion there, one screensaver is already devoted to the entire English-speaking Uyutub. Despite the fact that I do not really like these games, Daur Avidzba is so interesting about them that I just stick to the screen. Very well done.
